This month I tore open my April Vegan Cut's Snack Box with vigor–per usual. I love seeing what treats await me; some I know, some I don't, yet all fun to receive.
A leisurely drive into the mountains of West Virginia gave us an opportunity to enjoy the changing landscape between the two states.
We arrived just in time for dinner. I swear I didn’t plan that.
Two Moms in the Raw are at it again, but this time they have altered their ingredients…FOR THE BETTER! Taking a page from the progressive book, they have taken out agave and replaced it with coconut nectar.
Coconut nectar is still processed, but it is far less processed than agave. Agave may rank low on the glycemic index making it a suitable option for diabetics, but it ranks very high in fructose content. So high in fact that it is on par with high fructose corn syrup, which is a really big no no.
