At home having ready-to-go healthy snacks is essential. I never know if I need to grab something for a movie, a hike, in between meals, running errands or even road trips!
Read MoreThere are days when cashew cream slathered on bread sounds mighty delicious and then there are days (more often than not) where something fresh and green makes my body swoon.
In this recipe, I’m bringing together a refreshing, nutritious, DEFREAKNLIOUS green salad and a gluten-free, NON-GMO, low calorie, Sunfood Coconut Wrap that'll leave you swooning for days.
Aside from the surprising amount of flavor this wrap packs, it’s perfectly filling–leaving you pleasantly satisfied versus couch ridden.
You know it happens. I know it happens. It just happens.

I’ve thought about trying a meal delivery service plenty of times—I’ve always been curious, but I’ve never taken the time to seek out which delivery service would fit my dietary needs and wants.
My thoughts on the subject have always been that it seems like a great way for one to stay on track, to facility productivity and to introduce variety into ones diet. At the moment all the reasons above pertained to my current situation, which made the timing perfect to sample Veestro-a plant-based, non-gmo meal delivery service.
We are miraculous creatures, we have the ability to feel when our bodies crave healing foods, herbs and minerals. Sequentially, we can then heal ourselves.
Yesterday I heard mine loud and clear and in turn, I acted. I knew I needed to give my body the nourishment it was craving.
This summer, the LA heat has been no joke. Instead of going out and indulging on guilty desserts to cool down, how about making your own?

I was informed by my lovely friend Ask Leah Renee that a NEW must-try, Klean-Slate approved cookie was making its way through the clutter and shinning superior above the rest; I knew this Cookie Monster had to try them.

In my humble opinion; I nailed it.
These tasty bites are a perfect snack, pick me up, pre or post-workout booster and a sweet tooth craver nixer. Fancy terminology right there.
Lately, I’ve been adding more and more superfoods to my pantry instead of just running out and grabbing quick snacks all over town. I’m doing this for cost efficiency and for quality control.

Lately, my horizons have been expanding into brussels, cabbage, broccoli and pretty much anything else you can dehydrate and make into a chip. But, my heart will always lie with the pioneering kale.

I had to think really hard about this one…YES, definitely yes!
While wandering the aisles of my local, natural market I spotted Bites of Luv. I thought the packaging was cute, simple and with the font choice–a throw back to the 70′s. When I took a closer look I discovered they were gluten-free, soy-free, organic, non-GMO 100% vegan and nut-free!

Dear Expo,
I had a blast. I can’t thank you enough for indulging this nutritionally ecstatic, progressive thinking, can’t help but try everything, shift kreating girl.
There is nothing wrong with one on one time with yourself. I think its mandatory! We are always rushing dinners after long days, or running around maintaining friendships, while trying to fit in appointments and meetings…no wonder we are always drained and pooped!
